ABOUT US

The Lehigh Consulting Group serves to provide members with real world business skills with a strong focus on leadership and analytics. The purpose of this club is to help the Lehigh University undergraduate community gain an understanding of a career in the consulting industry. To achieve this goal, the LCG will facilitate networking between Lehigh students and consulting professionals, hold business case competitions, and provide information sessions and host speaker series. 

 


 

EXECUTIVE BOARD

 
   Shawn Silverman   President  Shawn is a sophomore from San Jose, California majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Finance within the Integrated Business and Engineering Honors Program. He joined the Lehigh Consulting Group his freshman year and since then has participated in the PwC case competition in 2017 and served as the project leader on a local business consulting project. As the president he is in charge of planning and organizing the major events and maintains the vision and direction of LCG. Outside of LCG he is a member of the TAMID group and is on the club ultimate frisbee team. Shawn has interned for multiple engineering firms in Silicon Valley and recently interned for a master’s student to help build the early phases of a tech startup in Bethlehem.

   Dean Zimberg   Vice President  Dean is a sophomore from New York, NY who currently stands as a B.S. candidate in IBE Financial Engineering within the Integrated Business and Engineering Honors Program. In Spring '17, Dean joined the Lehigh Consulting Group as the Director of Marketing as the first bearer of the role. In this position, Dean led student outreach, marketing designs -- was the creator of LCG's current logo --, and served as the primary web-designer to create LCG's first website. Dean is now the Vice President of Lehigh Consulting Group. In addition to LCG, he is the founder and President to the Lehigh FinTech Group, a fraternity liaison to the Lehigh University's Center for Gender Equity, an active member to the Lehigh Chapter of the TAMID Group, and Vice President of the LU Chess Club. 

Dean Zimberg
Vice President

Dean is a sophomore from New York, NY who currently stands as a B.S. candidate in IBE Financial Engineering within the Integrated Business and Engineering Honors Program.    Jon Kleinhenz   Director of Finance  Jon Kleinhenz is a junior from Laurys Station, PA studying Finance and Industrial and Systems Engineering in the Integrated Business and Engineering Honors Program at Lehigh University. Jon joined the Lehigh Consulting Group at the beginning of his sophomore year, quickly becoming involved with a small business consulting project before joining the Executive Board. As the Director of Finance, he creates and monitors the club budget, manages sponsorship money from outside firms and helps to organize events with professional services firms. Outside of the Group, Jon is the President of the Lehigh Club Soccer Team as well as a member of the Finance Club and the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Jon spent the summer of 2017 in Berlin, Germany as a Junior Analyst for NUMA, an international startup accelerator and innovation hub, focusing on business development and driving the company’s mission. Jon has accepted a position to work in the Business Advisory Program at Ernst & Young in Manhattan for the summer of 2018.

   Abbhi Sekar   Director of Outreach  Abbhi is a freshman from Bethlehem, PA, studying Finance and Industrial Systems Engineering in the Integrated Business and Engineering Honors Program at Lehigh University.  Abbhi joined the Lehigh Consulting Group at the beginning of his Freshman Year and was able to work on a small business consulting project.  As Director of Outreach, he is the primary point of contact with outside consulting firms, communicates with recruiters and alumni in order to plan events, and is responsible for gathering all the sponsors for the Lehigh Consulting Summit.  Abbhi is also a member of TAMID Group as well as a member of the Club Tennis Team and the Indian Students Association.

Kareem joined the Lehigh Consulting Group last year and had the opportunity to lead a project in collaboration with the Center for Career and Professional Development. As Director of Operations, he creates the logistics and plans required to ensure that LCG events run smoothly and efficiently.
